WE THE SURFERS .
In a small village in Liberia, a West African country devastated by two decades of civil war, local surfers are striving to change their future — and that of their village — through the creation of a surf club. Five years after the documentary Water Get No Enemy, surfer and filmmaker Arthur Bourbon returns to Liberia to reunite with his friends and document the evolution of surfing in the village.

THE PROJECT
The Robertsport Surf Club, located in the village of the same name, is a sports, social, and economic initiative led by local surfers. Its main goal is to provide access to surf equipment, manage the boards donated by the Swiss NGO Provide The Slide, support the village youth through a Surf Therapy program, and promote surf-related tourism in order to generate income, create jobs, provide school scholarships and offer opportunities to the community.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED?
By supporting the association Provide The Slide, you offer young surfers in Liberia and other African countries much more than equipment: you give them access to the benefits of surfing, to a passion that brings hope, confidence, and opportunities.
You can support the association by donating surfboards or by making a financial contribution.
